[Listen!!! Listen. She trusts the good people of Verens not to break into her store, okay.]
Hi! Hey! I'll be out in a minute.
[From the backroom, that is, carrying some unmarked bottles of varying colors with only a little trouble because of her cast. They're definitely the drinks from before... but they're oddly dark in coloring, contrasting with the usual lightness they have for sale.]
So, well, I'm not actually allowed to do this kind of stuff when Mr. Akira's here, since he's more focused on the positive emotions, but negative feelings are good too, [look at her ramble, look at her go, she has been practicing this just let her set up these on the counter] so I decided to prove that by experimenting with them to see if I can use them to create something more, well, positive instead of the usual!
[... So there. White wipes her forehead with her good arm, smiling a little nervously.]
I know it's probably not what you're expecting, but I really do need your help.
I have some if it gets too much, but otherwise nope.
[Like, if Silver wants to go and kill a bitch for something because of one of these, she's gonna give him the opposite, positive emotion to see if she can balance it out, but otherwise... Yes.]
Please, Silver? I've already tested these out on myself [which was a Fun Time ooooh boy] so it's not like I'm going in without some knowledge of how you might react, but I can't show it off unless I have a bigger pool of results... I don't know who I'd turn to if you refuse.
[Look at this face. Can you say no to this face. It's like a puppy face.]
We're only doing a couple of them since doing too many ends up turning you into a being who just wants to lay on the floor and accept your untimely demise by the hand of fate itself, and the sample size is small enough that it won't last but ten minutes top. Still, I'll need you to tell me everything you feel when you get a hit, okay?
[... Yes, let's start soft with fear. She holds out the dark orange bottle to him, palm sized as proof of its minimal lasting effect.]
This one's base is fear, but I added in some hope to help balance it out. You're supposed to fear staying in one spot, being left behind by someone, and want to better yourself so that doesn't happen. Kind of like you're thinking of a better future where you stand as equals or something.
[A potion of fear... Well, of all the negative emotions he could feel, fear isn't too bad of one. It's useful! It could be worse.
That's what he thinks until he drinks it, anyway, and the fearful thoughts settle in a lot more directly than the hopeful ones, because there's plenty to be fearful about, is he really good enough for his friends, he wasn't good enough for his Pokémon, he has to get stronger, he has to be better so that doesn't happen again, but what if it does, what if that guy blows them up, he was so careless, it's not safe here, it's-
Silver's expression is fearful for a moment, then goes strangely still; no matter how hard he tries to hide the fear, however, the ice still covers his shoes and starts climbing up his legs.]
It's no good.
[That's the most he can get out while his thoughts race.]
[She can wipe it up later, it's fine. For now, though, Silver gets an honestly surprised face from White, but it disappears in a second as she clears her throat and fiddles with the bottle again, smiling lightly.]
So. There's hatred, anger, envy, distrust, despair, and sadness left... I'm having trouble turning despair into anything good [which is amazing considering who inspired this line up] but I think I have the others nailed down, if you want to pick your poison this time.
[Her hand leaves the crimson bottle and moves to the dark blue, looking more like the color of the deepsea than anything you should drink, and lingers there.]
You're positive? It's supposed to make you more cautious of your surroundings, less inclined to believe someone's word if they seem like they're hiding something, so it's not exactly useful in an everyday thing yet, but... it has its uses, I guess. It's a troublesome one too.

...Are you sure you don't have some positive ones I could try out?
no subject

Fine. Which one am I trying first?
no subject
I'd let you choose, but that'd take too long!
[Let's see... Maybe something simple first?]
We're only doing a couple of them since doing too many ends up turning you into a being who just wants to lay on the floor and accept your untimely demise by the hand of fate itself, and the sample size is small enough that it won't last but ten minutes top. [That's the most he can get out while his thoughts race.]

The drink isn't any good? Do you think you can hold out, or do you need the cleanser?
no subject
Cleanser.
no subject
It's one of the emotions I've been having a lot of trouble on making anything good out of, I shouldn't have given it to you first, I'm sorry.
no subject
It definitely helps, but that's not going to magically make the ice up to his knees disappear either, so... Come here, Weavile, help him out.
...Or just hug his legs, that works too.]
It's okay. It wasn't just the potion, either, it's just-
...I have a lot to be afraid about right now.
[...He can trust White with that much.]
no subject
[Whoops. She hesitates, then sighs a little more resigned, fiddling with a dark red bottle. It's almost like blood.]
Maybe I should just get you to test out the nicer ones for me.
no subject
[Weavile gives one determined punch to each of silver's legs, and he's free of the ice. Mostly.
We've made a mess of your floor, White. Sorry about that.]
Besides, I trust you to stop anything that gets out of hand. I mean, you just did.
no subject
So. There's hatred, anger, envy, distrust, despair, and sadness left... I'm having trouble turning despair into anything good [which is amazing considering who inspired this line up] but I think I have the others nailed down, if you want to pick your poison this time.
no subject
Let's start with distrust.
[That seems like the ugliest one as far as doing this is concerned, so they might as well get it out of the way first.]
no subject
You're positive? It's supposed to make you more cautious of your surroundings, less inclined to believe someone's word if they seem like they're hiding something, so it's not exactly useful in an everyday thing yet, but... it has its uses, I guess. It's a troublesome one too.
no subject
[He holds out his hand patiently. This is going to suck, isn't it.]
no subject
Just the same as before, it'll last ten minutes and if you need a cleanser just say so.
no subject
[He drinks it up...
...And for a moment, he wonders if this one was a dud, because things don't feel much different.]
...Was that one not as strong?
[There's a slight chill around him, but at least it isn't as bad as the fear.]
no subject
[Like, she's not gonna test it again because that was an Interesting Experience, but still.]
no subject
[The fear one sucked, and this one is... Normal?]
no subject
Are you telling me you're in a constant state of paranoia, Silver?
no subject
...I don't think so?
[Of course you don't think so, buddy.]
no subject
Well, alright then. If you're always cautious anyway it makes sense why it wouldn't work... but if it's a dud, it's a dud. Let me grab another one.
[She's got a couple in the back. It's just a short trip before he can take another shot.]
no subject
Down goes a second drink. That chill's a little stronger, but he's still pretty calm.]
no subject
You're so weird. Let's try another one, since all I'm getting is a chill.
[Have your antidote earlier, Silver, it's going to be a nice mix of love and light happiness.]
