...I don't know what else to call it. When the Arehtei come down, they usually try to kill us? Or put us through a lot. Thras wasn't negative when he showed up, so he let us volunteer to... Get cool temporary superpowers and fend off evil. Something like that.

In the end, our powers got cut off, and we had to be brave and use them ourselves, basically. That's how we learned Dunamis for the first time.

...It's not a completely terrible comparison. My dad's a strong trainer. He's really passionate about about his specialty, you can hear it in his book. And he does good instead of bad sometimes.
