After Mom and Dad started letting us go places with them on League business, my brother and I decided that we'd use them as aliases since everyone else had them too. It stuck after they died and I was kept in the hospital so the League wouldn't be able to find traces of me, or so Black told me when I found out the whole... me dying thing, but up until then I'd just thought it was because we were the only Casters left in our family -- even if I didn't have any powers of my own, my family still accepted me as part of that.
