BASICS
☾ Born Gintaro Suzukaze and therefore shows up as such on retrospec, but otherwise goes by Silver Bells everywhere else. Yes, really. It's on his ID.
☾ 18, 5'10"/197cm, tall and lean. Birthday is 12/24.
☾ Fluently reads, writes, and speaks both English and Japanese.
☾ Has several Pokémon, at least one is almost always out and around.
☾ Regained bright red hair.
☾ Lives in gloves and a hoodie. Has the gloves with the pads for using your phone.
☾ Always carries around an incredibly packed backpack.
CURRENTLY
☾ Temporarily homeless. Feraligatr is deceptively comfortable.
☾ Moving into an apartment with Goro Akechi and Elizabeth Velveteen. Eventually.
☾ Going to college part-time to try to better communicate with his Pokémon via sign language.
☾ Works at Leviathan's Claw. Despite his awkward statue, he's gotten surprisingly good at selling people things they don't need.
☾ Occasionally street performs for money. Usually dances, but anything that can be monetized goes.
☾ Is in the process of teaching his Pokémon to dance.
☾ Hits the gym with his Pokémon. Training--! Showers! A pool. It's perfect.
☾ Sketches out all of his memories since his memory is bad and there are too many Pokémon. Sketches his Pokémon for fun.
☾ When not at work, can frequently be found at the library, buying smoothies, or at the arcade (most likely on the DDR machine.)
☾ Occasionally goes to the beach at night.
HISTORY
☾ Found on the streets of Recolle fairly quickly at the age of eight and grew up in the orphanage/foster care system.
☾ Has never really talked about where he's from or what the hell happened to his parents. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ He doesn't like to bring it up and doesn't think people will believe him if he talks about it anyway.
☾ Extremely quiet until about 12-13, when he started to come out of his shell a little more. His history from before he lived in Recolle didn't leave him with much practice talking to other people, and it took a while for him to be comfortable speaking up.
☾ Had a blatant refusal to listen to authority from a young age. Picked fights, refused to listen in class, eventually began skipping class towards the end of middle school. Eventually mellowed out towards the end of high school (although he still missed a lot of class.)
☾ Despite this, he's never actually had to repeat a grade or had difficulty with a subject. Smart but disinterested.
☾ Was equally unwieldy with foster parents and social workers; often refused to listen or cooperate and probably outright bit at least one foster parent. Most of the time it was just him acting out, but he's seen his handful of shitty, neglectful foster parents as well.
☾ Drifted from home to home quickly due to his behavior; occasionally landed himself in the orphanage.
☾ Reluctant to open up to people as a result of all of this. Having friends in school helped, but he's wary of people above his age group and kept most of his friendships casual and less personal.
☾ Elda Marker was most likely the most successful foster parent he's ever had; she took him in for a year and cared for him as much as her own (adopted) son. Silver ended up practically considering them family, but sabotaging everything and leaving them due to his own insecurities. He's since made up with them... Sort of. It's a work in progress.
☾ Assumed it was impossible for him to have a family after this and started coming out of his shell. Not the most positive reason to do so, but there wasn't really a point in not just moving to the beat of his own drum, either.
☾ Had a nasty pickpocketing habit up until he could work. Indulges in it when he deems it necessary or is under a lot of stress.
